How does an ABISOFIX operate?

As the rotary speed of an ABISOFIX is increased, three metal blades approach the wire. Due to a smooth start mechanism, the blades do not close jerkily but nestle gently against the material to be stripped. Only then the necessary stripping pressure is applied. Due to an infinitely adjustable rotary speed the blades may close to any specific required diameter. For example a thin layer of enamel can be removed from a magnet wire without damaging the copper. The result is a neatly stripped copper wire. Turn off the machine and the ABISOFIX will stop automatically ready for the next job. According to the combination of materials to be stripped it is possible to preset the correct working speed at the power pack. With all additional tools, the working method is identical.

• Adjusting Stripping Heads: You send us a sample wire or tell us the desired wire diameter and stripping length. We adjust all ordered stripping heads to your requirements.
• Stripping Head Maintainance: You send us your used stripping heads and we sharpen used blades or exchange broken blades. Please be aware that hardened blades loose their coating in the sharpening process.
• Drive Maintainance: You send us your used ABISOFIX drves and we maintain and repair them.

	Drive Item: Data: The ABISOFIX drive can be supplied drive alone. The design "ADBW" has a pierced shaft. This way the wire can be passed through the machine. Therefore it is possible to achieve longer stripping or tapping areas at required places. AMO ADBW drive alone drive with a bore of 2.8 mm Ø
	Table Holder Item: The ABISOFIX wire stripper can be fixed to a table-top. Switching on and off is applied by foot-switch. The dive is still breaked precisely. This allows short cycles with batch production. ATE

	Spare Blades Item: Spare blades are available for all types. After wear and tear we recommend to send in the complete stripping head or the whole unit for overhauling. Blunt knives can be sharpened.
